God loves you and has your best interest at heart.
Often, the world makes no sense at all,
that is why it is so important to trust God completely, especially then.
We don’t always see it at the time,
but as time passes and we look back, we can usually say,
“Oh yeah, now I see why that happened!
Thank you God for looking out for me!”
Jeremiah, 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,”
declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Don’t go there.
If the door seems fused shut, there is usually a significant reason.
It is better to pass it up, than to regretfully look back later.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.
While we are in the midst of deep waters,
we feel all alone, and often believe God has deserted us.
We are tempted to let go of God and trust our own reasoning.
BUT…
that is the time to HOLD on to Him tighter,
LISTEN to his quiet voice more closely,
and STUDY His Word more deeply.
That is the time to trust Him most,
to step back and allow Him do His work in you,
and also a surefire way to find His will for your life.
Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
You can’t expect God to glue all the pieces together
in your life if you are still holding on tightly to a few of them.
Jesus came to earth to:
Luke 4:18 “… proclaim good news to the poor.
… to proclaim freedom for the prisoner,
and recovery of sight for the blind, and to set the oppressed free…”
Find the freedom Jesus promises by trusting Him with your heart today.

What a beautiful post Elizabeth … thank you so much for sharing. Such encouragement to those who are wavering upon the sea of despair, the sea of sickness, the sea of any turmoil. Be still and watch Him calm the waters.
Amen! 🙂
No matter what anything looks like, no matter what anyone says, no matter what… completely trust in Him, answer only to Him. Look for Him in everything. See Him in everything, and you will be His, He will be yours, guiding you, loving you, filling you, surrounding you. And this, is your most beautiful life… in God’s Land.
You are so right-on, Sharon! The only place to find real peace is in God’s Land. Thank you for your comment!
