You know those times when you think everything is finally okay with you only to realize you still have a ways to go to get to the real you buried under life’s rubble?
You know you are there when the slightest request feels like a major overhaul. For me, those times equated to days when my best attempt at prayer was limited to whispering Jesus’ name.
When I tried to get back to blogging then, I found myself still hanging on by a thread and needing to recoup from decades of distressing setbacks that overwhelm a person to the point there’s very little energy for much else.
I thank God for the healing I have received the last few years as I attempted to recover through prayer, self-help methods, and a lot of thinking and processing what I’ve learned.
Today, I am finally free to be myself. Thank you all for hanging in there during my absence.
Major holidays have a way of leaving us dead tired when it’s all over. Make sure you look after yourself by prioritizing your well being.
